Boat inspections can be made by calling Georgette Vota (815-634-2400), Cameron Stiles(815-685-8256) or Jim Bolker (815-351-2494) (to set up an appointment. Proof of insurance and a copy of the registration must be furnished to the club office before boats will be permitted to enter the club. It is the member’s responsibility to keep their insurance current. The permit holder must be present at all times while the boat is in the waters. Insurance limits are $500,000 for all boats with more than a 10h.p. motor. Please include the Coal City Area Club as an "additional Insured" on your policy. Insurance certificates can be mailed, emailed to "info@coalcityareaclub.net" or faxed to 815-634-4737.
Boating Trial has become a new Bylaw in 2021
- Weekday boating permit holders as of June 1st can sign up for up to 3 weekend days a year to bring your boat in the club on a weekend.
- Memorial Weekend, the weekend after 4th of July and Labor Day weekend will not be available.
- The sign-up calendar will be coordinated from the office on Broadway Street by the Office Staff.
- The Gate Guards will be notified of the sign-up list each week.
